Neil biography and CV
Neil combines his unique skills in singing and classical guitar playing performing a wide repertoire of songs from Handel to Ed Sheeran. He sang over 100 songs during lock down on ‘Zoomed Guitars’ after encouragement from Professor Carlos Bonell the international classical guitarist.
Neil took up singing later on in life after a chance meeting with famous soprano Marie McLaughlin. He subsequently trained his tenor voice with Marie and International singing coach, Gary Coward performing roles for small opera companies in operas by Mozart, Verdi and Puccini. He has played classical guitar from a young age and specialises in accompanying singers. He combined these skills with his tenor voice which is powerful and lyrical, ardent and passionate adding to the many colours and shades that the classical guitar brings as accompaniment through his own arrangements.
Neil recorded Christmas at Abbey Road Studios recently and has recorded an album of Italian Romantic songs both of which are available on streaming platforms as well as CD.
